Otherworld is a 32,000 square foot immersive art exhibit located in Columbus, Ohio. The instillation has over 40 different scenes of large-scale art and mixed reality playgrounds!
The facility has 54 projectors and 190K LEDs! Otherworld took 2 years to create and the artists are still working on new designs.
Otherworld suggests that you allow 1 to 3 hours to go through the exhibit. The experience is not laid out in a specific way and you choose how you want to explore it.
Have kids? The experience was created for all ages! Otherworld makes for a great family outing. If children are frightened easily, some of the darker rooms may be avoided. Under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.
The science-fiction fantasyland was included in TIME's World's Coolest Places in 2019.
